Our Approach
Leo G. Dorado, known professionally as Leo D, is a singer-songwriter, producer and arranger. Raised in Miami, FL, he was born into a first generation Christian home and accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at the young age of seven. Son of a musician, Leo D was always surrounded by music. For the majority of his childhood, he observed his father's music ministry grow, eventually leading him to join as a drummer. His passion for music became more intense as his father recorded and released his debut album "Se Llama Jesús." This exposure led him to pursue music at an academic level; awards, national recognition, and scholarships were his fruits.
Our Story
In the years to follow, Leo D left to study at a Bible institute and college. There he joined the vocal ensemble making it the first time he would ever be on stage as a vocalist. For the next few years, he would travel all over the United States ministering as a member of the vocal and symphonic ensemble, as well as helping local churches as a youth ministries assistant.
After graduating, music had taken a different path for him. An opportunity to work in the music industry arose, and it seemed like doors were opening. Leo D began working freelance for companies such as Universal Music, ESPN, Ford, and even for a motion picture company. However, his life hit a crossroad that steered his music career back into the ministry. Faced with a decision to sign to a major record label, Leo D once again became sensitive to God's calling for his life and turned it down.
Leo D put music in God's hands and decided to release an album as a Christian artist. However, he found himself struggling to put in writing what his heart felt. One day, while sitting at the piano, Leo D decided to put the pen down and worship. In an instant, a song was born, "Thank You, Lord" poured out of his heart. Not forgetting his influence, he enlisted the help of his father, who wrote and co-wrote a few of the songs on the album.
Today Leo D continues to live in Miami, FL with his wife and son. They are using the Arts to reach people with a message of love and salvation.
